Everything You Missed Last Season On How I Met Your Mother
Here's your chance to catch up on everything you missed during last season's How I Met Your Mother. This comes at just the right time as HIMYM will be starting their sixth season on September 20th. Basically, Ted Moseby is still looking for Mrs Right. Barney and Robin are no longer together, much to the chagrin of Barney. Lily and Marshall are looking to make an addition to their family after seeing the Barney doppleganger. The dobblegangers were a whole thing last season, and Marshall (Jason Segel) and Lily (Alyson Hannigan) wanted to wait til they saw the alternative Barney before embarking on parenthood.
It turns out that the cabbie was Barney (Neil Patrick Harris) afterall just trying to score chicks. Jennifer Lopez guest starred as Barney's latest love interest as he and Robin (Cobie Smulders) cooled things off and Robin started dating her co-worker at the news station.
As a side note, Neil Patrick Harris scored an Emmy for his guest role on the hit series Glee. And How I Met Your Mother: Season 5 is on sale for pre-order but not available until Sept 15 - five days before the new season starts, so you'll really be all caught up.

Robin Will Be Living With Ted Moseby Next Year
Did you catch the end of How I Met Your Mother last night? There was a goat involved, and a spat between Barney Stinson (Neil Patrick Harris) and Ted Moseby (Josh Radnor) over Barney and Robin's tryst. In the episode, Ted confronts Barney over a very guilty Barney in a limo about Barney having slept with Robin (Cobie Smulders). Ted told Barney that he didn't want to be friends with Barney any longer and hopped out of the limo (Barney was taking Ted to Vegas to celebrate Ted 30th birthday). Barney was feeling terrible for having broken "The Bro Code" by sleeping with his bud's ex. (As a side note: Barney Stinson wrote The Bro Code, which gives his rules to live by).
Basically Ted let Barney know that Robin had told him about her night with Barney because she felt guilty herself, just as Barney was going to tell Ted about it himself.
What About The Goat?
Lily (Alyson Hannigan) had a goat (in a birthday hat, because, c'mon! A goat in a birthday hat is funny!) for Ted surprise birthday party, while Barney decided to surprise Ted himself by winging him off to Las Vegas to really kick off Ted's 30s with a bang. Actually Barney was doing this out of painful guilt.
At the very end of the show, Ted was telling his kids about the goat locking itself in the bathroom and it was eating one of Robin's face-clothes. Then Ted said - wait a minute... Robin's face-clothes? But Robin wasn't living there on his 30th birthday. He then said, oh that's right, the goat in the bathroom was on his 31st birthday. Implying Robin and Ted will be living together again next season. Hmmm...
